Single origin, 100% Arabica from Honduras, from the Don Joaquin plantation, at 1200 meters altitude. Wilmer René Estevez, a third-generation coffee producer, maintains a plantation that, in addition to coffee trees, includes hundreds of species of local flora, and is also a sanctuary for tropical birds. The beans are matured in tanks rich in C02 for 72 hours (carbonic maceration process) resulting in a truly distinctive coffee, with a buttery body, balanced acidity, notes of apricot and apple and a fruity aftertaste.
