Cascara Caffè Lab Panama Finca Hartmann 50g
Cascara (from the Spanish word cascara meaning peel) is a decoction made from the skins of the coffee fruit, which are removed during coffee processing. Originally from Arabia and Ethiopia, cascara has spread all over the world, thanks to its rich, fruity taste, and its very low caffeine content.
Caffe Lab's Panama Finca Hartmann Cascara comes from Arabica fruits of the legendary Gesha variety, Panama's most popular coffee, from organic plantations in the Santa Clara region and has a rich taste reminiscent of dried cherries, fine earl gray tea and a finish that it brings to mind cider.
Method of preparation:
Heat the water to 93 – 95 degrees Celsius
In a teapot, put 5 gr of cascara per 200ml of water
Leave to extract for 4-5 minutes
Strain, serve and enjoy after waiting another 1-2 minutes.
Warning: It's not coffee.
