Cascara Caffè Lab Rubya del Vulcano Congo 100g


Cascara (from the Spanish word cascara meaning peel) is a decoction made from the skins of the coffee fruit, which are removed during coffee processing. Originally from Arabia and Ethiopia, cascara has spread all over the world, thanks to its rich, fruity taste, and its very low caffeine content.

Rubya del Vulcano Congo Cascara by Caffe Lab is made from Arabica beans of the Bourbon variety, from high-altitude coffee plantations (1600 meters) in the volcanic region of Lake Kiwu. The husks are dried under the hot African sun, thus preserving the floral and fruity aromas.


Method of preparation:

Heat the water to 93 – 95 degrees Celsius
In a teapot, put 5 gr of cascara per 200ml of water
Leave to extract for 4-5 minutes
Strain, serve and enjoy after waiting another 1-2 minutes.


Warning: It's not coffee.
