Give a tropical, exotic note to your daily enjoyment

In the summer, we usually look for iced, delicious coffees that combine the intensity of coffee with special flavors that give coolness. Many times, these drinks, although delicious, are overloaded with whipped cream, chocolate, syrups or even alcohol. Like, there is a corresponding drink, which marries the espresso with summer flavors, which is very light, delicious and light: Iced Coconut Latte!

Iced Coconut Latte is nothing more than an iced Latte in which milk is replaced with coconut milk, which gives it a unique taste and freshness. It originated in Asia, where coconuts abound, but was quickly adopted by large coffee chains that made it even more popular, while the spread of the vegetarian diet also helped spread it.

Iced Coconut Latte is simple to make, light and tasty, and ideal for summer - as it gives a tropical, exotic note to our simplest daily treats.

What do we need for Iced Coconut Latte?

 - A Lungo espresso (about 100 - 110 ml)

 - 120 ml coconut milk
 - 1 Tablespoon honey or petimezi
 - A pinch of cinnamon
 - A pinch of grated allspice
 - Ice

How do we prepare Iced Coconut Latte?

 - Dissolve the honey or petimezi in the hot Lungo

 - Add the spices
 - Add the coconut milk and mix well
 - Beat with ice as you would a Freddo Espresso
 - Serve!

Tips for enjoyable Iced Coconut Latte:

 - This particular recipe requires a strong, Robusta-rich blend, as you want it to keep the body and taste of coffee in the iced drink, but also our coffee reminiscent of the strong Asian coffee commonly used in this recipe. Blends such as Lavazza Vending Gusto Forte, Garibaldi Espresso Bar or Covim Orocrema are ideal choices.

 - Coffee is ideal for those who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet, as it does not contain animal products, especially if honey is not used.
 - In addition to coconut milk, youcan also use coconut cream, which will give a more viscous texture to our drink.
 - If you use coconut cream, you can lightly beat it like whipped cream and serve our drink with it, instead of milk foam.
 - In addition to the cinnamon-all spice combination, you can use cinnamon and ginger or even ginger-clove, depending on our tastes.
 - You can use light coconut milk, reducing the calories of our drink.
 - Spices can be omitted if we want something lighter in taste.

Summer is here - and our coffee becomes an icy treat. With a little coconut milk and a touch of spices, we can give tropical character to our glass and take off our coffee!
