This summer, we are preparing Tiramisu... to drink it in the glass.

Tiramisu needs no introduction, as it is probably the most popular and favorite Italian dessert in the world, but also the almost necessary closing of every dinner in an Italian restaurant. Combining the fluffy cream with mascarpone, the kick of strong espresso, an idea of wine, cookies and bitter cocoa, Tiramisu is not just a dessert, but has lent its flavor to dozens of desserts, from crepes and cakes, to cheesecakes, ice creams and beverages. Why not, then, in a cocktail?

The Tiramisu Cocktail has it all: espresso and marsala wine, coffee liqueur and chocolate liqueur for the alcohol twist, mascarpone for a delightful creamy sensation, chocolate bitters for delicate taste notes and grated biscuit that elevates the pleasure. Try it!

What do we need for the Tiramisu Cocktail?

45 ml Espresso, cold
20 ml Coffee Liqueur
20 ml Marsala wine
15 ml Crème De Cacao Liqueur
15 ml Sugar Syrup
1 tablespoon of mascarpone
2 doses of Chocolate Bitters

How do we prepare the Tiramisu Cocktail?

Shake all ingredients very vigorously in a shaker with ice.
Strain very well into a large, chilled glass
Serve with well-grated biscuit

Tips for delicious, frozen Tiramisu Cocktails

In order for our drink to acquire a rich, creamy texture but at the same time be able to drink pleasantly, we must shake the shaker very well and strain the mixture carefully.
Instead of Crème De Cacao, we can use any creamy chocolate liqueur we have available
Marsala wine is an ingredient of the traditional Tiramisu recipe and it would be good not to skip it. However, we can use a little red vermouth if we don't have Marsala available or even skip it, but in the second case the result is inferior in taste.
We use ready-made sugar / glucose syrup or prepare homemade, with a ratio of 1:1
If we don't have chocolate bitters, we can use some syrup, but the bitters will really lift the cocktail.
We use an espresso with a strong body (ideally, with some respectable Robusta content) in order not to "lose" the coffee flavor from our cocktail.
We enjoy responsibly and never drink and drive
