Coffee and chocolate in a wonderful, original, unique taste.

Feast days should be, among other things, sweet! In addition to traditional pastries, such as melomacarona, kourampiedes and diples , Christmas and New Year's Eve we are surrounded by dozens of sweets and desserts: cakes, exquisite chocolate sweets, chestnut trunks, tarts, and a list but is coffee involved with all this?

Aside from the fact that coffee fits in perfectly with any type of sweet, there are also sweets that derive their flavor from coffee itself. Without overlooking traditional Italian coffee-flavored sweets such as tiramisu, a beautiful festive proposal, tasty as well as impressive, is coffee biscuits - and indeed, coffee bean cookies!

Simply made, without requiring difficult ingredients or pastry skills, coffee bean cookies are a first-class treat for those who have been bitten by the "excessive" sweets of the day. Their spectacular appearance makes them perfect for a handmade gift, a visit, a call or a dinner party.

 - Use instant coffee, for a more intense taste. You can also experiment with espresso or filter coffee, with different results.
- With half a tablespoon of ground coffee in the dough, we can give our cookies a crunchy character.
- It is advisable for children to stay away from cookies as they contain caffeine.
 - Ignoring the coffee, we make simple chocolate cookies that will delight our little friends.
 - To get the perfect shape, we will need a bit of training - it is quite natural that your first batch might not be so presentable, but it will certainly be delicious.
 - Make your cookies small, as the larger they are, the less they will remind you of coffee beans, which is also your goal.
