Divine espresso blends from an Italian company with a passion for ancient Greece.

The coffee of the gods comes from Sicily

Sicily, due to its location and ports, was one of the first parts of the European continent to come into contact with coffee, while for years it was a melting pot of cultures, religions, customs and traditions. As a result, the Sicilians developed a unique coffee culture, with characteristics distinct from the rest of Italy.

From Catania, the "Black City" in which many of the buildings and monuments are built with volcanic stones from the volcano of Mount Etna, comes Epos Caffe, an espresso company that aspires to bring to our cup the… coffee of the gods.

What makes Epos Caffe stand out?

Epos Caffe is a relatively new company in the field of espresso, and at its helm are people who, although young in age, have a real passion for coffee and know in depth the secrets of espresso. The company's motto reflects its entire philosophy: "Perfection - Tradition - Innovation". In this context, the blenders and roasters of Epos Caffe are always looking for the best coffee beans, they work with respect to the tradition of the authentic Italian Espresso but without fail to keep their eyes open for the trends of the time, adapting their products to requirements of the modern consumer.

The people of Epos Caffe pay special attention to transparency and the correct information of the consumer, so that the espresso lovers who choose Epos Caffe blends know exactly what their cup has. Each bean is carefully traced and the different origins are mixed with mastery, so that the taste palette of each blend is absolutely characteristic and the blend is enjoyable until the last sip. Epos Caffe roasters avoid overly dark roasts, as they want the organoleptic characteristics of coffee to reach the consumer in the best possible way.

Irresistible Espresso with Greek origins.

The people behind Epos Caffe love Greece, and especially the history and heritage of our country. Wanting to emphasize their company's commitment to the tradition and history of espresso, but also the search for the perfect espresso blend, they christened it with a Greek name, from the ancient word EPOS. Justified, since these are… epic blends.

The love of the founders of Epos does not stop simply in the name of the company, since the blends of Epos Caffe are borrowed from the names of ancient gods. The king of the gods Zeus, the warlike Mars, Hephaestus who constantly fights with the flames, the sensual Aphrodite, the messenger of Olympus Hermes and the playful Apollo christened the six blends of Epos Caffe, predisposing us really

Get to know Epos Caffe!

Zeus (100% Arabica): Zeus, the king of the gods, gives his name to the "king" of the Epos Caffe blends. 100% Arabica blend of four different origins, characterized by fruity notes, rich cream and delicious aftertaste.

Hermes (80% Arabica – 20% Robusta): The messenger of the gods not only gave this blend its name, but also its lively character. In the mouth it displays notes of almond and chocolate, while the small percentage of Robusta offers the blend solidity and intensity.

Efesto (10% Arabica – 90% Robusta): The god of fire named a blend that tastes like a real volcano. Exquisite Robusta beans from India and Cameroon are complemented by Brazilian Arabica, in an espresso blend with a dense texture and distinct notes of chocolate, hazelnut and bitter cocoa, without any acidity.

Ares (60% Arabica – 40% Robusta): One would expect nothing less than a blend bearing the name of the god of war: intense and lively, it will "conquer" you with ease. Cereals and cookies are the dominant flavor notes, while the aftertaste is intense and persistent.

Apollo (30% Arabica – 70% Robusta): The playful Apollo brings us a strong character and lack of acidity, in a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans from Brazil and India, with a taste reminiscent of cocoa and baked bread and an extremely spicy aftertaste.

Afrodite (30% Arabica – 70% Robusta Decaffeinated): The "feminine" blend of the series is set by the protection of the sensual Aphrodite. Robusta from India and Brazilian Arabica are combined in a decaffeinated blend, which, however, is not inferior in taste and aroma to the other "gods".

We all deserve some divine pleasures… instead of nectar and ragweed, time to fill our cups with wonderful espresso, from the blends of Epos Caffe!
