Tiramisu Cappuccino, convenience & enjoyment together

22/01/2021
by coffees.gr

Ιs it a coffee or is it a dessert?

Tiramisu is without a doubt one of the most beloved Italian desserts, never missing from any self-respecting Italian restaurant. Its popularity has given it several variations, such as the Panamota with Tiramisu flavor. All these desserts are very simple and do not require much familiarity with confectionery, but what about the moments when we just want a quick dessert, with a strong coffee flavor, that is prepared literally in a minute?

Tiramisu Cappuccino is something between sweet and brown, it is very easy to prepare and it is a great way to use the leftovers of our kitchen, such as crushed cookies and pastry cream. The result is a viscous, comfort drink, ideal for lazy winter afternoons but also as a supplement to a rich, Sunday breakfast.

What do you need for Tiramisu Cappuccino?

A double espresso (60ml)
20 ml pastry cream
100ml milk
Chocolate Syrup
Cookies, broken into pieces
Whipped cream
How do we prepare Tiramisu Cappuccino?

In a glass, first place the pastry cream
Extract the espresso in the glass and stir
Continue with the frothed milk and then the whipped cream
Garnish with chocolate syrup and grated cookies

Tips for easy and fast Tiramisu Cappuccino

We can use a simple pastry cream, or even use the ones left over from making a dessert.
We use a blend with a balanced Arabica / Robusta ratio, so that the taste of the coffee is not "lost" in the final drink. Options such as Amigos Qualita Blu (60% Arabica / 40% Robusta) or Epos Caffe Hermes (80% Arabica - 20% Robusta) are ideal for this recipe.
In addition to the chocolate syrup that we will use in the garnish, we can lightly flavor the espresso with a little syrup with hazelnut or almond flavor.
If we want to skip the syrup for a healthier version of the drink, we can sprinkle the whipped cream with a little cocoa.
We use whatever cookies we have available, ideally what we have left over from the preparation of a dessert. Authentic tiramisu requires savoy, however this hybrid recipe can be made with any cookies we want.
Whipped cream can be replaced with whipped cream, but this requires more effort and the purpose is to keep the recipe simple.
Serve in a glass with a saucer and necessarily with a teaspoon.

You do not need specialized confectionery knowledge for a delicious dessert - just good coffee and imagination. Everything you need to make an easy Tiramisu Cappuccino.
