Comfort & Cozy Recipes from around the world that drive away the cold.

What do we need a cold breakfast or a frosty afternoon? Someone we love, a good book, a good movie and of course, a cup of hot coffee! Yes, of course, but what about coffee?

We looked at our archive and collected five unique recipes from around the world (Mexico, America, Germany, Southeast Asia) that have one thing in common: the warming, comfort character, which fits glove on gray days, with polar temperatures and plenty of snow. It is no coincidence that the ingredients used, from rum and whiskey, to hot tea and ... hot peppers: everything wants to make us "survive" from the icy breath of snow!

So let it blow and let it snow! What will you prefer? A Chili Mocha Latte or maybe a Pharisaer?

Five coffee recipes for REALLY cold days!

Chili Mocha Latte, utilizing the ancient secrets of the Aztecs: As its name suggests, Chili Mocha Latte combines strong coffee with chocolate and hot peppers, in a truly warming and comfort effect. If the combination sounds strange, it is worth noting that the people of South America combined cocoa with chocolate, long before it was discovered by Western palates. The flavors and aromas are uniquely mixed, and the frothed milk (or a little whipped cream) made the whole thing even more delicious. Find the recipe here

Suggested Blends: Cosmai Altura, Passalacqua Mekico

Irish Coffee, the traditional and beloved: It is not actually Irish, but a creation of Irish immigrants in San Francisco, USA. From the love of the Irish for the whiskey of their homeland, a unique coffee was born, whose original recipe is not very easy, as it requires fresh cream and a special glass! But even if we simplify the classic recipe, we will enjoy the most classic and favorite winter coffee that exists. Find the recipe, here

Suggested Blends: Hausbrandt Gourmet, Jacobs Barista Editions Crema

Pharisaer, the coffee of the ... hypocrite, from Germany: Born of a time when Protestantism loved coffee but hated alcohol, "hypocrite coffee" gives another dimension to filter coffee, as it strengthens it with strong rum and a brave dose of whipped cream. Everything you need for an afternoon by the stove, while outside it is "German" cold. Find the recipe, εδώ

YuangYang, the coffee that puts ... an end to dilemmas: If you are wondering if the snowman draws more of a hot coffee or a steaming tea, the exotic YuangYang is the best solution, as it consists of equal doses of strong coffee and black tea. With its roots in Southeast Asia, YuanYang has a special taste, is served with plenty of sugar and milk and offers plenty of energy, but also warmth. Find the recipe, εδώ

Suggested Blends: New York Monorigini India, Rhodigium Indonesia EK Especial

Caffe De Olla, to fill the house with winter aromas: If there is one coffee that brings together all the favorite aromas of a winter day, this is Caffe De Olla from Mexico! It is a feast of tastes and smells, while even its traditional serving, in a clay jug, looks designed to make the experience more cuddly. Find the recipe, here

Suggested Blends: Rhodigium Cuba Serrano Superior, Caffe Lab Santo Domingo Barahona
