TikTok's viral dessert, a little differen.

There is certainly no person who has even the slightest contact with the internet who has not seen the “Japanese Cheesecake” trend in recent days. It is a dessert cut and sewn to the specifications of GenZ and TikTok: easy, photogenic, with a catchy name, healthy and destined to go viral, since anyone can try their own version with minimal effort.

How can we bring this dessert to our own standards? By presenting a caffeinated version, just as simple as the ones we see, but much more flavorful and with an extra kick of caffeine. And so Japanese Cheesecake Tiramisu was born!

 

What do we need for Japanese Cheesecake Tiramisu?

- A cup of strained yogurt

- A package of cream cheese

- Two lungo espresso

- A spoonful of honey

- Digestive biscuits

- Cocoa

 

How do we prepare Japanese Cheesecake Tiramisu?

- Extract the two espressos

- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, cream cheese and one of the two espressos

- Beat very well, until we have a homogeneous cream.

- At this stage, add (if desired) honey to the cream and continue beating

- Divide the cream mixture into two or three glass bowls (depending on their size)

- Dip the cookies that we will use in the other espresso for a while

- Place the cookies in each bowl vertically, making sure that there are enough of them, but that the cream can also "breathe"

- Cover the bowls with transparent film and leave them in the refrigerator for 12 hours

- Before serving, sprinkle our sifted cocoa.

- Our dessert is ready!

 

Sure, our homemade dessert can't compare to an authentic, Italian Tiramisu. On the other hand, it's an easy, quick dessert with relatively low calories, that anyone can easily make – and enjoy – so… why not? Enjoy!
