Two extremely simple and easy spritzer coffees for the coming summer

Where iced coffee meets soft drinks. 

Anyone who watches the trends in the field of coffee, will surely have noticed that a real trend, which is constantly gaining new audiences, is spritzer coffees, that is, in simple words, iced coffees combined with carbonated water, such as tonic, soda or even and lemonade. The beginning of this fashion seems to have been made with Espresso Tonic, an iced, thirsty drink that combines strong espresso with the discreet bitterness of tonic - although drinks like Mazagran from Portugal, which does not differ much in the logic of its preparation, are much earlier.

Spritzer coffees are ideal for the hot, summer months, as they combine the tonic effect of coffee with the refreshing touch of soda or tonic, in a combination that quenches thirst and is a first-class supplier of heat treatment. Still, most spritzer coffees are extremely simple to make, do not require barista skill and can be prepared easily and quickly with 2-3 simple ingredients.

Cold Brew Lemonade: Sweet and rejuvenating

Cold Brew turned out to be not just a fad, but came to stay in the coffee shop, constantly gaining a new, fanatical audience. In Cold Brew Lemonade, Cold Brew marries lemonade, for extra cool results

Ingredients: 60ml lemon juice - 20 ml syrup - 50 ml iced soda - 200 ml Cold Brew - ice

Preparation: In a tall and wide glass, mix the lemon juice, syrup and water. Add ice and top with Cold Brew. Serve with a straw.

Extra Tip: We prepare our Cold Brew by following these simple steps. For an even more enjoyable feel, we use grated ice instead of ice cubes.

 

Coffee Soda: the soft drink we have always dreamed of

Most of us would welcome a carbonated soft drink made with real coffee. Coffee Soda can make our dream come true. In its normal preparation, it has nothing to envy from a real soft drink, as CO2 is added to coffee with chiffon, the special tool used by barmen in their cocktails. However, we present a simpler, "homemade" version, which can be prepared in seconds.

Ingredients: 250ml strong filter coffee, 45ml syrup, a few orange peels, strong soda

Preparation: While the coffee is hot, add the syrup, the orange peels, stir and leave to cool. Refrigerate. Add soda at desired quantity and serve with ice cubes.
