Four ways to have vacations full of coffee!

When the journey is full of special emotions.

Holidays, especially abroad, are a unique opportunity for new images, new flavors and new experiences. Of course, every trip, in order to be really interesting, has to adapt to the interests of the traveler. If one is not an art lover, it may be a mistake to stand in the queue for a gallery he would never visit, while someone who reads history and mythology frantically wants to visit archaeological sites and museums. But how does coffee get involved in all this?

Coffee, for many of us, is not just a beverage. It's a favorite habit, a special hobby, a passion. Can we combine our holidays with coffee? Of course! For this, we present four vacation and travel ways that will excite anyone who loves travel and coffee.

Four ways to have vacations full of coffee!

Coffee Tour: A different city tour, with a strong taste

In recent years, many of those who visit large  or smaller cities are turning to city tours, organized walks, which are often the best way to get to know a new city. Many of these walks simply present the main sights, others may be thematic (for example literature, architecture etc) while gastronomic walks, which combine the gastronomic culture of each city, with all sorts of tastes, are particularly common. but also moments from its wider history.

A subcategory of these walks, of course, are the Coffe Tours,! Frequent in Italian cities with a rich tradition and strong coffee culture, such as Naples, Trieste or Rome, these walks include historic cafes, small coffee shops, bold espresso dinners, local pastries and snacks, and a A look at the history of every city, always from the perspective of coffee - let's not forget that each city's coffee culture has a profound effect on its history and evolution, and in turn is profoundly influenced by it.

Agrotourism: Transform yourself into a coffee maker for a few days.

All coffee plantations are located in the so-called "Coffee Belt", an area between the tropicals of Cancer and Capricorn. Many of the coffee-producing countries, in addition to have coffee as key pillar of their economy, have developed their tourism industry, taking advantage of their natural landscapes and climatic conditions. So many entrepreneurs have combined the two, offering tour packages on coffee farms, usually in Central or South America.

These programs include staying in landscapes of exceptional natural beauty, but also in-depth acquaintance with the world of coffee for anyone who wishes, with activities involving participating in the cultivation, harvesting or processing of coffee. It goes without saying that staying in all these holiday packages is usually luxurious, and includes coffee tasting with the help of specialized staff, an experience that is usually not easily obtained.

Discovering sights from the coffee world

Of course, you don't have to go on a guided tour to discover coffee-related sights. A glance at tourist guides or an Internet search is often enough to discover coffee-flavored attractions. So, cities like Sao Paulo or Vienna have separate museums dedicated to coffee, Rome and Venice have legendary cafes with centuries of history, while in Turin many espresso lovers flock to Via Tommasi to visit the first Lavazza Coffee Shop, located in the same location since 1895.

Most European (and not only, of course) cities are full of sights, places, landmarks and places related to coffee, so it's a shame that a city tour doesn't include our favorite habit.

Deepening the tastes and the coffee culture of each city

Undoubtedly, this is something every coffee lover does while visiting a new city! How do the locals drink their coffee? Are there any special recipes or specialties? Which cafes serve the best espresso? Are they old, traditional espresso bars or are they a trendy café in the Third Wave? Are there any coffee brands starting here? The search never ends!

So if we visit an Italian city, it goes without saying that we need to be well organized in order to enjoy what it has to offer. Cities like Naples, Rome, Turin, Trieste, and dozens more, are full of espresso bars, small or large coffee shops, specialties and recipes - a bunch of related articles on the tripadvisor and a notebook will surely help us enjoy unforgettable coffees on our holidays and make the overall experience even richer.

Every journey, distant or near, small or long, relaxes the mind and opens new horizons. So why not fill it with good coffee?
